Integrated protection against trunk pests. Conducted using aerosol technologies with biological preparations and predatory insects Thanasimus formicarius.
Mineral fertilization is carried out to increase the resistance of green spaces to climate changes, pests, diseases, and to maintain them under high anthropogenic load.
Forest pathology surveys are conducted for general monitoring of the sanitary condition of forests and green spaces. They help detect pathological processes in the forest at an early stage.
To control the spread of pests and forest diseases, it is necessary to accurately determine which harmful organism we are dealing with. Laboratory analysis quickly and efficiently provides such information.
On the territory of DSLP Kharkivlisozahyst, there is a recreational area (a place for relaxation) created by the employees of the forest protection enterprise. Additionally, more than 30 different species of ornamental plants grow on the territory of DSLP Kharkivlisozahyst.

Forest Future Campaign Starts in Ukraine
From March 21, 2018, on the International Day of Forests, the annual campaign of the State Forestry Agency of Ukraine, "The Future of the Forest is in Your Hands," begins. It will last for a month—until Environment Day, which will be celebrated on April 21 this year in Ukraine.
Foliage-eating insects have always existed in forests, and they periodically experience population surges every few years. Damage to leaves and needles by these pests leads to a reduction in tree growth. By destroying foliage, insects disrupt normal water exchange and photosynthesis, weakening the trees and reducing their productivity. If defoliation occurs repeatedly, some coniferous species may die, especially in unfavorable conditions or when weakened by other factors. Additionally, trees damaged by defoliators become more susceptible to other threats, such a

Forest is an invaluable wealth, a habitat for animals, birds, and other living beings. However, like any living organism, it is not protected from factors such as diseases and forest pests that can cause significant damage. Trees may die as a result of damage caused by forest pests and diseases. Due to the conditions that developed in 2017, the population of the common pine sawfly increased sharply, leading to damage to pine forests over large areas. The most severe damage was observed in young forests, where repeated defoliation caused tree crowns to

The storm caused damage to forest plantations in Hlynsk, Nedryhailiv, and Tomashiv forestry of the Romny forestry enterprise of Sumy OULMG. The most damage was recorded in the "Velyki Budky" and "Pai" tracts in Nedryhailiv region, as well as the "Vilne" tract in Romny region. Snow Damage – Severe Natural Phenomenon
From April 19 to 21, snow breakage and windfall occurred in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. The snow breakage affected not only urban and rural areas but also large forested areas.
Snow breakage is a natural disaster. It occurs due to heavy precipitation in the form of wet snow, which accumulates on tree crowns. As a result, the tops, trunks, or large branches break under the weight of the snow.
The period of dormancy and overwintering for many phytophagous insect pests has come to an end.
We remind you of the need to resume monitoring the further development of particularly dangerous species of pine sawflies – the red-headed weaving sawfly Acantholyda erythrocephala L. and the starry weaving sawfly Lyda nemoralis Thoms.
According to literary sources, the emergence of the red-headed weaving sawfly imagos begins in the third decade of April and lasts several weeks. The emergence of the starry weaving sawfly imagos occurs slightly later &ndash

Household waste cleanup was organized in the area adjacent to the enterprise.
Most of the waste consisted of plastic and glass, which are extremely harmful to the environment and nature as a whole.
Destroying a forest does not necessarily mean cutting it down – simply littering it is enough. Every day, people themselves are destroying hectares of forests, along with the clean air they breathe. It is distressing to realize that the mess created today will leave a significant negative impact for many years to come, le

Activity of forests is the continuous process of photosynthesis, releasing oxygen essential for human life.
Strength of forest plantations is associated with soil retention, especially in areas prone to erosion.
Resilience of forests provides habitats for animals, birds, and other
