On June 14, 2017, specialists from the forest protection enterprise conducted a detailed forest pathology survey of trees, providing recommendations for their health improvement and longevity. The survey covered the alley along Heroiv Pratsi Street from Hvardiitsiv Shyronintsev Street to Traktorobudivnykiv Avenue. From June 15 to 21, 2017, enterprise workers carried out tree health improvement activities along this alley. These included crown pruning—removing dry and damaged branches to enhance the trees' aesthetics and prevent hollows. Additionally, the entire tree crown was thinned by eliminating obstructive skeletal branches of the second order. Mechanical damages on trunks, wounds, hollows, and branch cuts were disinfected and treated with sealing materials. The trunks were also cleaned of lichens. The final stage involved applying a complex of mineral fertilizers directly to the root system using drainage holes.
