From May 21 to 26, a group of Ukrainian forestry protection specialists visited Turkey for training on the use of biological and biotechnical methods for pest and disease control. The delegation was led by Kateryna Davydenko (Director of Kharkivlisozakhyst), accompanied by four specialists: Denys Baturkin (Deputy Director – Chief Microbiologist of Kharkivlisozakhyst), Vira Venger (Head of Laboratory of Lvivlisozakhyst), Iryna Pryanchuk (Forest Pathologist Engineer of Vinnytsialisozakhyst), and Mariya Skrypkina (Head of Laboratory of Khersonlisozakhyst). They spent five days at the Regional Forestry Directorate in Artvin.

The Ukrainian specialists gained valuable experience in the practical application of biological forest protection methods and established professional connections with Turkish colleagues.
