One of the best specialists in forest protection and forest entomology, Valentyna Lvivna Meshkova, recently published review articles on the issue of preserving and creating healthy forests (forest health). Meshkova Valentyna Lvivna is a Ukrainian entomologist in the field of forestry, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor at Kharkiv National Agrarian University named after V.V. Dokuchaev, and Head of the Forest Protection Laboratory of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Forestry and Agroforestry named after G. M. Vysotsky. She is also an academician of the Forestry Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (FASU).
