As part of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine’s initiative “The Future of Forests is in Your Hands” and in celebration of the International Day of Forests on March 21, 2018, specialists from the State Specialized Forest Protection Enterprise "Kharkivlisozakhyst" held a thematic lecture for 5th-grade students at Babai Secondary School on April 4, 2018. The lecture, titled "Forests and Settlements," emphasized the importance of instilling respect for nature in younger generations and highlighted the significance of afforestation in maintaining ecological balance. Students learned about forest cultivation and care, as well as the main harmful insects that damage forests and measures to combat them.

Understanding the necessity of fostering environmental awareness among students, the event aimed to educate them on forest management and the importance of conservation. By raising awareness about harmful insects and forest protection techniques, we contribute to preserving green spaces for future generations.
