As part of humanitarian assistance, the State Enterprise "State Forest Enterprise" of the Republic of Lithuania (THE STATE ENTERPRISE STATE FOREST ENTERPRISE) transferred a Subaru Forester vehicle to DSLP "Kharkivlisozakhyst". The transfer was carried out in accordance with Article 20(7) of the Law on the Management, Use and Disposal of State and Municipal Assets of the Republic of Lithuania. According to this law, as well as the "Description of Procedures for the Implementation of Activities for the Development of Cooperation and the Provision of Humanitarian Assistance by State and Municipal Institutions" approved by the Republic of Lithuania.
This vehicle, transferred free of charge, is of great importance for our enterprise and will become an important tool in performing the functions assigned to DSLP "Kharkivlisozakhyst". In particular, with its help, the company's employees will be able to perform forest pathological and reconnaissance surveys, create sites for the purpose of constant monitoring of the sanitary and forest pathological condition in the centers of forest stands drying out and mass reproduction of pests, carry out integrated plant protection measures and conduct seminar-training in forest enterprises that are within the scope of the forest protection enterprise.
This humanitarian aid is a vivid example of international cooperation and support for Ukraine in difficult times. DSLP "Kharkivlisozakhyst" expresses gratitude to Lithuanian colleagues for their help and support. We are confident that joint efforts will help preserve and protect forest resources. The cooperation between Ukrainian and Lithuanian forest protection services demonstrates the importance of international solidarity in environmental protection and sustainable forest management.
