June... July... August... The season of summer vacations and relaxation. Our company employees take turns resting while ensuring that our work continues uninterrupted. Currently, our specialists are observing the development of the ant beetle in the laboratory. Leading forest pathologist engineer Natalia Ilchenko monitors the feeding process and biological development stages of the ant beetle in test tubes, ensuring proper humidity and temperature levels in the laboratory environment. Forest pathologists Olena Synytska and Olena Kupko carefully extract xylophagous larvae from the substrate to feed the ant beetles.
Summer Research in Laboratory

Currently, the Kharkivlisozakhyst laboratory has successfully nurtured nearly all biological development stages of this entomophage. Larvae, pre-pupae, pupae, and adult insects are feeding and developing as expected. The controlled laboratory development of the ant beetle continues, with plans to integrate mature specimens into natural environments to combat harmful xylophagous species.
