On April 8, specialists from the "Kharkivlisozakhyst" once again conducted an introductory lecture for students. This time, they introduced the specifics of the forest protection service's work to junior students of the Chuhuiv-Babchan Forestry College. During the lecture, photo materials of the main harmful needle-eating insect species were presented. These photos were taken by our experts during forest pathology surveys in outbreak areas and laboratory observations.

It was pleasant to see the interested faces of young students during the lecture. The faces of the teachers showed a wider range of emotions, as they already have experience and are familiar with this field of forestry. Both students and teachers reacted vividly to the photos of pests, displaying emotions of surprise, sympathy, and an understanding of the consequences of certain insect species' harmful activities.

After the lecture, as always, we discussed several issues with the college professors regarding challenges in the forestry sector and the possibilities of further familiarizing students with the work of the forest protection service.
