Specialists of the State Specialized Forest Protection Enterprise "Kharkivlisozakhyst" regularly create thematic collections of forest pests and diseases at the request of forest enterprises and interested parties. These collections serve as visual aids in forest protection corners. In the past year alone, approximately 40 such collections were produced. As the saying goes, "It is better to see once than to hear a hundred times."
For forestry workers and nature enthusiasts, it is essential to see the actual sizes, colors, and development stages of insects and fungi to distinguish beneficial insects from harmful ones. A great example of such interest is the "Trostyanetske Forestry Enterprise" of the Sumy Regional Forestry and Hunting Administration, which has placed collections in its forest protection corner, including the six-toothed bark beetle, common and red pine sawflies, gypsy moth, pine looper, root fungus, oak and birch bracket fungi, autumn honey fungus, ash necrosis, and the bordered polypore.
